Dandenong Holden Day
CANCELLATION of the 2020 Monaro Nationals
The 2020 Nationals Planning Committee of the Monaro Club of Victoria has been closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation and its potential impact on holding the 2020 Nationals in October this year.
It has become clear that COVID-19 poses substantial risks to holding the event, to entrants, volunteers and visitors.
Regretfully, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Monaro Nationals. Our Duty of Care to all participants has been paramount in this decision.
Emails have been sent to all Victorian club members, people who have already registered for the event and those around Australia who had registered their interest in attending. The Nationals Facebook page is being updated and the nationals website has been archived.
All entrant fees will be refunded in full.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this decision but we trust you will understand the uncertainty that we are all facing.
We now look forward to the 2022 Nationals. The Monaro Club of Victoria will focus on preparing our bid to host the 2024 Nationals.
Welcome to the Monaro Club of Victoria

Christmas in July - 21 July @ Fyansford Hotel
We were pleasantly surprised by sunshine this year in the middle of winter for our Xmas in July event, the wind cold, but no rain was a blessing. At Todd Rd, our first meeting point, saw us with 14 Monaros ready to cruise, the second stop at the BP servo Geelong bypass we had 9 Monaros to greet us and on arrival at Fyansford Hotel 4 Monaros parked already. Some issues with the general public parking in our parking area meant we were a little short on space and scattered, but safe and off the road.
Lunch was enjoyed by all in the Riverside room, staff were efficient and
friendly, we had some give a ways for club members and three winners from our
draws on the day, first one for a photo spot in next year’s club calendar which
to a new member who had joined on the day, Sam with his Turbine Grey CV8R,
Second draw went to Shane Cordner a pack containing car wax, T-shirt and a Club
calendar, the third draw was for the girls and contained a bottle of sav blanc
and chocolates, the lucky girl being Kim Chapman.
A photo shoot on the heritage bridge at FYANSFORD concluded the day with many heading home afterwards, we thank all of you who attended this event from far and wide it makes the effort worthwhile to see such a beautiful collection of Monaros out and about and the owners are not too bad either.
