Thursday October 22 Street Meet
This event will provide all Entrants the opportunity to be part of a street display of Monaros in the main CBD area of Warragul (subject to Council planning permission). There are many dinner options in the Warragul CBD, varying from restaurants to clubs to take-aways.
Saturday October 24 Partner and Family Bus Trip
The iconic country village of Yarragon provides a wonderful array of specialty shops and eateries. Our journey will take us firstly to the Yarragon Vintage Market with its collection of antiques, collectables, vintage, retro, shabby and fashion. We will then cross the railway line to the main shopping precinct with beautiful art galleries, specialty gift shops, boutique fashion stores and many more interesting places to visit. Lunch will be in this area, in a venue of your own choosing. We will return to the Show and Shine at Lardner Park in time for the next Partner and family event.
Saturday October 24 High Tea
High Tea will be available as an optional event for all entrants, partners and family. This will be held at Lardner Park with delicious food and interesting activities.
Saturday October 24 BBQ and activities
For those staying at Lardner and any other entrants, partners and family there will be an evening activity at Lardner Park, starting with a BBQ and followed by activities which will be announced at a later date.
Saturday October 24 Dinner and Trivia
You and your friends may choose to get a team together for Dinner and Trivia at the Warragul Country Club. This beautiful venue offers great food, followed by an entertaining evening of multi-topic trivia, suitable for all ages and interests.
Sunday October 25 Alternative Cruise to Walhalla and Erica
This cruise is designed for those families not attending the Lang Lang Holden Proving Ground cruise. Leaving Larnder Park, we will cruise through the magnificent West Gippsland countryside to the old gold town of Walhalla. After some time here for investigation and a photo shoot, we will return to Erica for a delicious lunch, then a leisurely cruise back to Lardner Park or your accommodation.
Sunday October 25 Alternative Bus Trip to Gumbuya World
A must for families at some stage during your visit to Gippsland, Gumbuya World is an amusement park in Tynong North, near Pakenham which offers rides and attractions ranging from water slides to roller coasters and wildlife exhibits. Rides include Mining Race Coaster, Boomerango, Berry Twirl, Desert Derby Dodgem Cars and many more. Water activities abound and parent supervision is essential.
